Interacting with the various sensors will provide tactile input which helps kids explore different textures, and auditory input to hear different sounds that they may experience throughout their day and environment. Watching the visual sensors can be a calming experience as well as help strengthen eye muscles to follow moving objects.

The different sensors on the ramp can be used to work on receptive language skills by following directions. Parent can ask them to touch one sensor before/after another. They will need to follow auditory instructions while also getting the reinforcement of playing with the sensors.
